I'm Amanda Downum, and this is Magpie Mind Hosting & Design.
Once upon a time I was an art major. I gave that up, but still love making pretty things, and web design is so much less messy than charcoal and paint. Now I make websites out of HTML, CSS, twigs, chewing gum, bits of string, and maybe some simple PHP. My goals are attractiveness, navigability, and easy updating.
My husband Steven is a software architect and analyst, and has been programming professionally for fifteen years. He handles the hosting, in addition to proofreading my code and translating arcane codemonkey dialects.
